Time to Write

Where to begin when writing your first research paper… to hopefully be published!?!? In the last 2 hours, I have successfully written 30 words of my first research paper. This is going to be a long and fun process (being sarcastic on the fun part).

Yay for writing a sentence in 2 hours!!

Problem with scientific publications… scientists like to reference other publications on their methods. So to figure out the exact methods, you must back-track to the first publication. Even when making a statement, papers will most likely say, “as described previously in (X),” why can’t you just say what was described so that I can site a more recent paper vs siting a paper written in the 1990s! Hmmm… I must learn to be patient and become a fast reader!! Any tips on organizing all these papers and thoughts?!?! Feel free to comment! ~Cell-ebraTez
